Overview

Amboseli Landowners Conservancies Association (ALOCA) is an umbrella trust comprising six conservancies founded by individual landowners who joined their land parcels following the subdivision of the former Kimana Tikondo Group Ranch in 2000.

Together, the landowners are enabling open rangelands for improved ecological connectivity, wildlife conservation, livestock production and community livelihoods.

Our Vision

Enable our members realise the full socio-economic potential of community-based Natural Resources Management in the Amboseli Ecosystem.

Our Mission

To provide sustainable economic and social benefits from conservation, management and utilization of wildlife resources in the area and at the same time secure land tenure for posterity.
